EDUCATION
This educator’s guide for grades 3-8 offers experiential learning opportunities for students who watch Shark Kingdom, through outdoor activities, scientific experiments, large group simulations, and creative activities in art or drama. In each grade level, students will dive into the hidden life of sharks as caretakers of the oceans and explore ways to protect these extraordinary fish. All lessons connect to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), covering interdependent relationships in ecosystems, the flow of energy in an ecosystem, environmental impacts on animals, and more.
